London's first canal taxi service

A fleet of paddle-powered boats will transport passengers along the canal in Little Venice.

Ten boats have been licensed by British Waterways to operate on the Regent's Canal and Grand Union Canal.

Passengers can book the two-seater water taxis online, to pick them up along the canal and be taken as far as Victoria Park, Hackney Wick or Hayes, Middlesex.

The service will run seven days a week from April until October.
