Aisha Yetunde Bakrin, now in year eight at Quintin Kynaston School, in Marlborough Hill, came joint second in the Colliers Green Focus competition with her reflection piece, winning herself a mini iPod.

Aisha and classmates Tanseem Khayroun, Khalil Iraqi and Michael Workeye had their photos selected from hundreds of entrants to be displayed at exhibitions at both the Royal Geographical Society, in Kensington Gore, South Kensington, and the prestigious Photographers' Gallery, in Great Newport Street, West End, in September.

The pupils took the photos on a geography fieldtrip in March, as part of a new scheme run by property advisor Colliers CRE to get children learning about the environment through photography.

Deputy head of geography at Quintin Kynaston Louise Malits said: "It was a really valuable learning experience for them.

"The best thing about the trip was that each child was able to express themselves creatively."

Aisha's work is pictured.
