Berets and baguettes in Church Street

A French market is coming to a popular Lisson Grove shopping street tomorrow.

Market traders will be selling French food such as croissants, baguettes, cheese and strings of onions and garlic throughout the day.

Westminster Council's cabinet member for community protection Cllr Daniel Astaire said: "We predict that during the credit crunch more and more people are going to be looking towards markets as necessary ways of saving money and this French market is just one of the ways we are seeking to make sure our markets become some of the world's best."

We'd like to hear from you.
