Maida Vale hits the small screen

Posted by Juliet Eysenck on Oct 27, 08 02:33 PM in Local Authority

Smallest-Cinema-1-.jpgThis is the smallest cinema in the world which came to Maida Vale at the weekend.

The tiny cinema screened films on rotation, each lasting less than 15 minutes.

If you missed out on the action, the cinema will be moving round Paddington in the coming months to reach a wider audience.

Westminster Council's cabinet member for customers and neighbourhoods Cllr Audrey Lewis said: "Ingenious projects like this bring new ideas of what is art to people's minds.

"I hope the cinema will give our residents a different perspective of the life and history of Regent's Park, one of the Westminster's cherished open spaces."

We'd like to hear from you.
