Help change services in Westminster

Posted by Juliet Eysenck on Nov 24, 08 05:32 PM in People

Community groups and individuals are needed to help improve services in Westminster.

Westminster Local Involvement Network (LINk) is looking for people who use health or social services in the borough to voice their opinions.

The LINk finds out what people like and dislike about services and work with the people who plan and run them to help make them better.

James Shafe, of Westminster LINk, said: "As a direct result of local people's work
there is, for example, now a new dental surgery in Church Street and appointments at St
Mary's Hospital are organised better.

"As patients we all benefit from improvements like this. There are many ways you can get involved.

"You can take a few minutes to email us with your views or take longer to represent the community when a health or social care service is being discussed with service providers."

To get involved call James Shafe on 020 7535 0492, email jshafe@vawcvs.org or visit www.westminsterlink.org.uk for more information.

We'd like to hear from you.
