Over 50s event in Lisson Grove

A housing trust in Lisson Grove is throwing opening its doors to celebrate lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) history month.

Notting Hill Housing in Penfold Street is holding an open day on February 22, from 11.30am, to mark the start of regular LGBT group activities at the centre.

A ballroom and Latin dancing beginners' taster class will be held from 11.30am to 12.30pm, lunch from 12.35pm to 1.25pm and a creative art workshop from 1.30pm to 2.30pm.

Anyone over the age of 50 and living in the area is welcome to attend for either or both sessions and lunch.

The event is free.
