St John's Wood post office up for award
A post office in St John's Wood has been shortlisted for an award.
The branch in Circus Road was nominated for the honour of Best Crown Post Office in the South East and East region in the 2009 People's Post Office Awards.
Customers have judged post offices based on a wide range of services and an understanding of individual customer needs and requirements.
A Post Office spokesperson said: "These awards are a great opportunity for our customers to tell us which branches are the very best in the region.
"Whether people visit St Johns Wood Post Office to pay their bills or pick up their travel money, we're delighted that they feel the team should be recognised for their hard work and excellent customer service."
The winners of the award for Best Post Office in the South East and East region will be announced at the end of April.
The winners will go through to the national final on 21 May where the overall winners of the 2009 People's Post Office Awards will be announced.
