Woman killed in Marylebone lorry collision named

Marylebone-road-death.jpgA woman who died following a fatal collision in Marylebone has been named.

Vicky Millar, 43, of no fixed address, was killed after a collision with a skip lorry at the junction of Marylebone Road and Old Marylebone Road, last Monday at around 4.15pm.

She was taken to St Mary's Hospital, in Praed Street, Paddington, where she was pronounced dead at 5.17pm.

* The driver of the lorry, a 48-year-old man, was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and taken to a central London police station. He has been bailed to a date in May pending further enquiries.
