Queen's Park collision man identified

An elderly man who died following a collision with a minibus in Queen's Park has been formally identified.

Jeremiah Costello, 74, died following the collision in Carlton Vale at around 4pm on Friday, June 12.

He received medical attention but was confirmed dead at the scene.

A post-mortem examination took place at Northwick Park Hospital and gave the cause of death as multiple injuries.

The minibus, a white Mercedes, stopped at that scene.

* The 70-year-old driver was arrested on suspicion of causing death whilst driving without due care and attention.

He was taken to a north west London police station and later bailed to return on 14 September, pending further inquiries.
