Man identified following fatal lorry collision in Bayswater

A man who died shortly after leaving a Bayswater restaurant has been identified.

Jeremy Haines, 36, died after leaving Harlem restaurant in the early hours of last Saturday.

He fell, landing partly on the pavement and partly in the road at junction with Monmouth Road, at around 12.10am.

He was then in collision with a passing lorry.

Mr Haines, from Tooting, was pronounced dead at the scene.

A post-mortem gave the cause of death as multiple head injuries.

Euston Traffic Unit is investigating the collision and has appealed for witnesses to call 020 7388 6806.
