Queen's Park by-election candidates announced

Candidates for a by-election to be held in the Queen's Park ward have been announced.

Abdul Ahad will stand for the Conservative party, Mark Blackburn for the Liberal Democrats, Patricia McAllister for the Labour party and Susanna Rustin for the Green party, at the by-election on Thursday, December 10.

The election was called following the death of Labour councillor Mushtaq Qureshi earlier this year.
