Man shot in Bayswater

A man is recovering in hospital after he was shot in Bayswater last night.

A 27-year-old white man was found with a gunshot wound in Elms Mews, at around 8pm on Tuesday (Dec 29).

He was in the driver's seat of a dark-coloured Mercedes at the time of the shooting.

Police officers are keeping an open mind regarding the motive.

There have been no arrests at present.

Anyone who witnessed the incident or has any information is asked to call police on 020 8733 4774, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
