Posted by Juliet Eysenck on Jan 7, 10 10:44 AM in People

A blaze broke out at a six-storey block of flats in Kensington Gardens Square on Wednesday.

Three left the building before the fire brigade arrive, and a further 30 were evacuated by police.

Two flats, one on the fourth floor and one on the fifth floor, were partly damaged by the fire.

It is not thought anyone was injured.

Firefighters were called at 3.15pm and the fire had been brought under control by 6.06pm.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
